Audit Staff
We seek to add a dedicated, motivated, and positive individual to our team to fill the full-time role of Audit Senior in our Accounting and Audit (A&A) Group. This position deals with quality clientele, has minimal out-of-town travel, and offers significant opportunities.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily progress of audits, reviews, compilations, special projects, and agreed upon procedures.
- Identify reporting and accounting issues based upon professional standards, GAAP and GAAS
- Proactively research and resolve complex issues with the ability to document and convey results in a clear and concise manner
- Provide superior client service based upon knowledge gained relative to a client’s business objectives, operations, and processes
- Demonstrate team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards, and the ability to convey these attributes when developing or mentoring staff
- Invest in professional development by actively participating in internal and external training, and networking events.
Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification
- Three – five years of progressive audit experience in public accounting
- Personable, ambitious, and exhibiting a strong work ethic
- Detail orientated and driven to achieve high standards
- Reliable and adept at meeting tight deadlines, and ability to provide exceptional client service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, flexible, accurate, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Proven skills using Microsoft Office applications. A working knowledge of ProSystem fx Engagement is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Working in a team environment to perform quality accounting and auditing engagements
- Audit planning, communicating with clients, meeting deadlines, and workpaper preparation and review, assisting in the preparation of financial statements
- Supervision and assuming a leadership role to provide training to develop and mentor staff
- Research and resolve complex issues with the ability to document and convey results in a clear, concise manner
- Display a comprehensive understanding of professional standards, GAAP, and GAAS
